When you submit a quote request or register as a tradie, we collect the information you provide — including your name, email address, phone number, and details about your job or business. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and analytics purposes.
We use your information to connect homeowners with tradies, send quote request notifications, verify business registrations, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Homeowner contact details are only shared with tradies who are relevant to your specific job request.
By submitting a quote request or registering your business, you agree to receive transactional emails related to your request (quote confirmations, lead notifications). You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly.
We use cookies and similar technologies to analyse site traffic and improve your experience. We use Google Analytics (anonymised) and Microsoft Clarity for behaviour analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the site may not function correctly.
Quote request data is retained for up to 24 months to allow us to improve our matching service. Tradie business profiles are retained while the account is active and for up to 12 months after account closure. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform: SendGrid (email delivery), Railway (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting), Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
